Labour and Employment Law
The fair labour practice jurisdiction allows for a labour law dispensation that pays due regard to the needs and interests of both employer and employee. Neither employer nor employee benefits from a static employment concept where their respective rights and obligations are cast in stone at the commencement of the employment relationship. What the employer bargains for is the flexibility to make decisions in a dynamic work environment in order to meet the needs of the labour process.
