Matthew Prime is an associate in the firm’s Insurance and Legal Liability Department.

Matthew attended IIE Varsity College and obtained his LLB degree in 2022.

He joined BDP Attorneys in 2023 and completed his Practical Vocational Training under Mr. John Smit and Mr. Christo Potgieter in the firm’s Insurance Department.

He assisted Mr. Smit and Mr. Potgieter in various matters including personal injury, legal liability, recovery, and general litigation in both the Magistrate Court and the High Court of South Africa.

Matthew was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in February 2026.
