Tasreeq is an admitted attorney of the High Court and currently practising as an associate at BDP Attorneys. Tasreeq completed his LL.B

Degree at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), Summa Cum Laude in 2021. During his time as a student, he was part of the Golden key International Society, Deans Merit list for 3 years and the UWC’s Top Achievers Programme due to his excellent academic results. Tasreeq was awarded with scholarships from the Webber Wentzel Empowerment Trust, Canon Collins and Werksmans Attorneys.

He is passionate about community development and leadership. He served as the Deputy Chairperson of the UWC Law Student Council in 2021, a member of Street Law in 2020, a student moving promoting human rights and he is currently a board member of Africa Unite, which is a Non-Profit Organisation aiming to promote social cohesion and human rights across Africa.

Tasreeq has experience in labour law, commercial law and sports law matters. Furthermore, he has developed expertise in dispute resolution, contract drafting and legal advisory services. His work reflects a strong dedication to upholding ethical standards while delivering practical, solution-focused legal advice.
